IdeaTracker
Turn raw ideas into trackable agent workflows
About the Project
IdeaTracker starts from a simple frustration: many ideas get captured, but almost none get systematically followed up, validated, or turned into something durable.
Goal
I want to extend the act of logging an idea into a full workflow. An agent should first understand the problem, then decide whether it belongs in research, prototyping, or content production, and keep the whole chain visible over time.
Intended flow
1. Input an idea or question 2. Let the system classify it and choose a path 3. Clarify the user's goal before action begins 4. Invoke deeper research workflows when needed 5. Write the final structured result back into a knowledge base
Why it matters
For indie builders, scarcity is rarely about ideas. It is about sustaining momentum until an idea becomes testable. IdeaTracker is an attempt to productize that momentum.
Current challenges
The hard parts are task granularity, long-horizon reminders, and a UI that keeps state visible without becoming another source of noise.
Key Features
- Classify ideas and route them automatically
- Clarify the goal before execution starts
- Chain research, prototyping, and output into one loop
- Show the state of each idea in a persistent UI
Challenges & Solutions
- Choosing the right task granularity
- Building long-horizon follow-up and reminder behavior
- Routing different task types into different workflows
- Keeping automation without removing user agency
